Owner description: We're the MAC, Belfast's new arts venue. We select, create and mix up music, theatre, dance and art - bringing you the very best of local and international talent, all under one roof. Our world-class building is situated in the heart of Belfast's bustling Cathedral Quarter, right behind Saint Anne's Cathedral. We are home to international art exhibitions, the very best in live theatre, experimental works and all manner of weird and wonderful goings-on. One visit and you'll discover that the MAC has something for all ages and interests. We hope you love our building as much as we do.

I went with friends to the Gilbert and George exhibition yesterday. It was my first time to the MAC. I was very impressed by the architectural design and the layout of amenities.
I also want to thank the curator for bringing this exhibition to Belfast. It was a rare opportunity to see such a large body of work by this influential art duo. Added to this the venue was free to use making it even more accessible

Modern theatre/gallery with wide range of shows and exhibitions. Located in Cathedral Quarter close to wide variety of restaurants and a multistorey carpark.

Lovely gallery spaces.
The current Gilbert and George exhibition is very interesting. Well curated and good film and information. Not sure why we had to book on line (free) and get wristbands on arrival as we were pretty much the only visitors.
The restaurant/coffee area was good and a pleasant place to sit afterwards.

This is a lovely place to spend time. It looked as though it was well used.

The G&G exhibition was colourful, shall we say, but not to our liking really, although the 90-minute film about the lads was amusing.

Met a colleague for business today. Had a wee booth which was secluded and private. Had some great coffee from excellent staff. Definitely worth a visit
