Stayed at Gales for four nights last week and it was amazing. The staff were lovely and the food was incredible. The location can't be beaten and the entertainment on a weekend was so much fun. We had a great stay and would recommend again and again. The rooms and bathrooms could use a little updating, but the bed was extremely comfortable and there was so much room, including a sofa and good internet connection. Would definitely stay again.

Room tip: Rooms above the restaurant were nice and quiet.

Big room clean and tidy, but dated. Shower fine. They said there was no breakfast but supplied a£6 voucher for the rear courtyard bar/kitchen.
Excellent quality breakfast well presented for £9. So with a pot of tea paid £5 extra.
Parking limited and tight. But ok.

Lovely quite bar, clean, nice decor. Food was fab and not too expensive. Worth a visit, staff are fabulously friendly and helpful. Will return for sure if I pass by again. Also dog friendly which is a plus for me. Not cheap but worth it for a nice treat.

Beautiful quirky boutique style hotel. Central to Llangollen. Lots bars and restaurants nearby. Reception and staff very friendly and helpful. Room 16 great for us and our dog. Room very spacious and clean. Had great nights sleep. Maybe due to excellent wine with our dinner and not over priced. Very relaxed atmosphere and would definitely recommend.

Room tip: Parking could have been awkward when arriving at lunchtime but staff sorted us out.

Centrally situated it has only a small car park so tell them if you need a space. Rooms clean. Wine bar atmospheric with good choice of wines. Full breakfast extra so budget. No dinners served on Monday or Tuesday. Very friendly staff.
