A really interesting and eye opening place. Can not believe it how much information has been saved to pass it onto nowadays.

Very interesting visit which we both enjoyed. it gives people a bit of an insight into how he lived. It’s right in the middle of town and easy to get to as well.
The house itself seems to be mostly original but in some parts has been altered to make it safe etc for visitors. It hasn’t been completely spoiled by this if you use a little imagination. There is a lot of information to be had on site and the staff are very helpful. He seems to have been very well off, taking into account the size of the place. Very well worth a visit.

Thank Eric B

Visited Shakespeare’s birthplace as have had that on my bucket list for some time as a fan of the playwright.
It makes me laugh people that moan it is run down - it’s old!!!
It was so interesting with lots to see and learn, recommend a tour guide as they can go into so much more detail.

Not the best one of of the Shakespeare houses but worth a look when done as part of the houses package. Nice little museum party as you first enter with some interesting art work.
