Spent a pleasant Sunday morning walking along Quayside. Good market and a good buzz. A few buskers about added to the mix. Quite a few restaurants and bars but mainly chain stuff. A nice way to spend the morning in Newcastle.

The quayside on both sides of the Tyne feels like a really special place to be. The bridges over the Tyne all have their own character and make for some rather spectacular photos. Whatever the weather there is always something happening to focus on and add interest to a 'mooch' along the quaysude

Was here on business recently and must say the opposite side of the river I was on has some fantastic old buildings etc. Defo worth a wander on a pub crawl. Not many bars right on the quayside but leads you up to some more nearer the city centre.

We had nice stroll along the quayside when the market was on. Was some lovely smells from the food stalls. It was a nice sight at night time when all the lights where on. Will be back
