Have been into Bath many times but was not aware of this place until noted in a brochure. Good way to spend an hour or so on a wet morning.

This is a jumble of neat old stuff: it will totally appeal to machinery and manufacturing geeks, probably less so those who would prefer the fashion museum which is a 5 min walk away... there is a fully functional belt driven machine shop on display - very cool! So IT could be an ideal opportunity to split a couple's time efficiently - or just do both! The old guys running the museum are great and their anecdotes interesting. Really worth a visit.

Spent about an hour and a half here, found the museum interesting with good staff. Well worth a visit and something different to the usual Bath tourist attractions.

Located within walking distance from The Crescent, this was so interesting. Everything was heading for the tip ( from the original factory, which stood where the new shopping centre has been built) - fortunately some wise soul saved all the old tools, machines, furniture, crates of bottles (10,000 I believe), and the history. Really interesting, and only cost £6 each.
