My husband and I had a gift voucher at Christmas for Yamas. We had never heard of it as it is quite tucked away and we didn't really know what to expect from it. We ordered a few dishes to share between us and the portion sizes were very generous. Every dish was so flavoursome, without a doubt the best tapas food we've had! The staff were attentive and friendly and the service was pretty quick. We will without a doubt be going back!

Wow what a lovely little place , real traditional cooked food.very tasty ,a very busy restaurant with a lively atmosphere, thank you to the young waiter from Corfu for making our night special,I would travel all the way to Nottingham againe just to go to yamas, fabulous place one not to be missed.

Having dined at a lot of Greek restaurants up and down the country, the food in this restaurant was simply the best experience. So much choice and could easily have chosen 20 of the meze options, and when one of us is vegetarian this is quite a feat! Already looking at what is on at the theatre to justify another trip to Nottingham just to visit this restaurant!

A Greek friend invited her English and Greek friends to celebrate her birthday at her favourite restaurant. Yamas is on 2 floors and both rooms were full throughout the evening. The food was delicious, the mezze looked particularly appetising and my vegetarian mousaka was the best I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was terrific and it was typically noisy with a mixture of Greek and English trying to make themselves heard! This really is how I imagine eating out in Greece to be and I will be taking my own family there soon. My only criticism is that the stairs down to the toilets are very steep.
