First time visitor. Lovely little cinema, very traditional more like a theatre. Clean and comfortable and much cheaper than other cinemas with no visible reason why :)

Thank Emma P

Not very modern, kinda odd looking and small inside and the website not very good. However nothing was bad about our movie, which is what we came for. Nice seating within the theater and convenient online ticket pickup.

I love films, and lately many new releases have grabbed my interest (Thor: Ragnarok, The Greatest Showman, and Jumanji 2 to name a few) but the cinema is notorious for being expensive, with a standard ticket being in the region of £8 now.
But not at the Savoy. In exchange for the flashy scenery and modern seating of an Odeon or Showcase, you get more than reasonable ticket prices. As a student, I get tickets to the latest releases for only £4.75. How awesome is that! And it's only 15 minutes walk away!
The staff are all friendly and well-organised. They also show more than just films; a few of us also went to the showing of Rigoletto here too, as we'd never seen an opera. It was fantastic!
It's lovely to see an old cinema still in use and evidently thriving. Obviously, some may see the Savoy as just a musty old building, but I think I'll go here as long as I live in Nottingham!

This cinema - independent, cheap, efficient to use - is really something to be admired. I have seen a few new films here recently (Thor: Ragnarok, Murder on the Orient Express) and had no problems whatsoever. At times the price is less than half that of other cinemas in Nottingham, with no compromise on quality.

The cinema is small and old but does not take the charm away. Has a very good screen and the popcorn are perfect.
