Fantastic place, where you are positively encouraged to sit on furniture, try out games, and even enjoy a small sherry! You get a real feel of it being a family home, rather than a "museum" and the volunteers are friendly, knowledgable and interesting. The gardens are also superb and the tea room is excellent. Parking is very limited, and restricted to disabled users only, but it's easy to get to by bus, bicycle, or even on foot (although it is a bit of a walk from the City).
Pay a visit, you won't regret it.
