Visited this café recently a brilliant find. This café is run on a 'home kitchen place'. The food is all home baked by the proprietors who work both front and back of house. The tea is served in teapots, cup and saucers and are refilled free of charge. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and welcoming. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely go back.

Only popped in for some jam, ended up spending about £20 on cakes, biscuits, and everything else. Would definitely recommend as I will no doubt be there a few more times before the week is through.

Popped in to find lovely home baked cakes and had a lovely pot of tea and cheese rounds. Very reasonably priced and not hurried which was nice, all served with a friendly smile. Not lots of space though so probably not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.

Stumbled in here looking for a coffee and found a friendly, homely, and welcoming place. Had a couple of excellent mochas and the gently warmed fat rascal (with a little cream and jam, of course) was the best I've had. The plum bread from a local bakery comes highly recommended too!

Fantastic little business, baking almost all their own treats and serving them with a side of cheer and joy. Utterly delightful.

Very friendly and helpful owner and young staff. We had tea (which i was informed would be refilled if I'd like but a 2-cup pot was perfect in itself), hot chocolate with marshmallows (yum), clotted cream scone (mmm beautiful, light and warm)& flapjack. All delicious and we shall definitely return! Informative about the area and gifts wrapping service for lovely products on sale. The only downside is having to use public toilets (not so pleasant) on the opposite side of the street, so 'go' first!!
