Make sure you visit the middle chippy, in my view the best. Usually just open during the day but not at night, no sit in space but is what you call proper chips from a proper chippy, not a tarted up tinsel place!
Every time I visit here (at least monthly), I always make a point of going to this chippy.
Please support a small local family business.
From town centre, cross the bridge, and keep following the road around to the right and along the quayside for 2 mins walk.
Tip: as is the case anywhere, if your eating outside anywhere, beware of seagulls and don't leave chips unattended or uncovered.
