Called in on Friday for breakfast, really good quality bacon sausage and eggs lots of beans tomato and two slices of toast on the plate, plus a stack of bread and butter, lovely mug of tea, all for less than £6, bargain. Very friendly owner, and a bonus of been able to take our dog in. Would definitely return next time we visit Whitby.

Four of us popped in for a late breakfast on a Saturday. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to come free but we took that as a good sign. Full breakfast was exactly as advertised and just what we needed, bonus were the super friendly staff

Superb place to get a good hearty full English breakfast and a cuppa tea. This is the place to go. Good food at reasonable price.

We were recommended the whistling kettle before we came, we’re stating in Scarborough but came to Whitby and decided to give it a try.
I had full English breakfast and my daughter had a bacon and sausage roll and both were delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and the price was £9.25 for both which included a hot drink with the full English. The staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful despite them being so busy as the cafe was full, we did actually have to wait a few minutes for a table but that wasn’t a problem at all. We didn’t have to fetch anything, everything was brought to the table for us. Will definitely return next year when we have our annual visit to the east coast.

We visited this cafe over the Whitby Goth Weekend. It was busy with people waiting for space to be available.
It is a small and intimate cafe with a friendly vibe.
We both had a full English breakfast and loved every part of it. The tea and coffee were also very nice.
All the staff were friendly.
I would definitely recommend this place for good honest food.
