Description: Shepherds Hall was built in 1873 and was a meeting place for the Loyal Order of Ancient Shepherds. It is now a fabulous tea rooms, craft gallery and has a lovely tea garden along with ample free parking. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, home baking and food prepared using local produce where possible make this a must to visit. Our craft gallery has unique items and gifts, many of them Fair Trade or British made, along with vintage china for sale.Lealholm is a traditional village, a popular tourist destination surrounded by beautiful heather moors crossed with miles of footpaths and bridleways. There are plenty of things to see including the stepping stones across the River Esk which are not far from Shepherds Hall.

Called in for lunch today and we where not disappointed as it was fabulous as always the only problem is that they are closing next week till March for their winter break now that's a real blow. Cannot wait to go back.

Visited when we went to the nearby nursery. Had a look at the items in sake in the craft shop. Very reasonably priced. Had lovely coffee and a piece of home made curd tart. The other cakes etc on offer looked rather tasty too. Worth a visit if in the area

We visit these tea rooms quite regularly. The food is always well presented and delicious. My husband had the corned beef pie which was on the specials board which looked delicious - he said it was too! I had a brie, pesto and tomato panini which was also delicious and served with a lovely side salad. The two ladies that run it are always attentive and friendly and it is a bonus having a car park too. Lovely food and friendly place. Definately worth a visit.
