Always had a good time here - although I like the fact that its well hidden and not visible from the street. A little bit of speakeasy drinking den vibe. Cocktails were great - so many different and original ones. Service was imppecable and the music was spot on. Thanks again Wilfried for being so hospitable.

Elegant surroundings ,, buzzy atmosphere , good cocktail selection ,, between £14/£26 and house wine £10 pre glass but the venue is near Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden so expect it to be pricy , great service

Booked this for valentines day for my hubby prior to our dinner reservations. The atmosphere is giddy and the cocktails are definitely worth the price. We will be coming back to try the cocktails afternoon tea which looked delicious.

Some bars in hotels can lack atmosphere but this one feels like it's separate, with its own identity, though like the hotel it feels superior. Very dark, loud - we initially giggled at this and said that maybe we were just having a post-40's reaction to a club ambience. The menu is very good with twists on classics and originals on the cocktail list and then extensive normal bar menu. Snacks/nibbles alongside were nice too. Not pricey - given location it was what you'd expect and felt totally reasonable. Service was fantastic and very welcoming. We booked - very busy around 10-11 by the time we arrived but emptied a bit just after.
