After a VERY annoying entrance procedure where you should stop at umptous places for photography they want to sell you the actual tour is great fun for the kids, where they are active and participating in the search for Shrek. You need at least some basic skills in English to appreciate fully as the search is passing a lot of figures who talk and tell a story and involve the children, if you don't understand the experience will be hampered.

Went as a group of 6 adults and 6 children with rail 2for1 offer. Everyone enjoyed it and thought it was brilliant. Actors were really good.

So we visted here and even with a buy
One get one free still wasn’t worth the money. You are in there for about an
Hour we went at 12pm but we were given a time slot of 3pm to go back. You can book your own time slot on line before you go.

Disappointed. , Geared up to take as much money as they can. Photos or you all the time to sell at the end for £35! . a seres of rooms with actors taking so quickly and in strange ways they I could not really follow what they were saying, let alone the kids following what way going on. Too many people were put into each room at a time, making it hard for anyone to see or enjoy it. Did not see Shrek until the very end.

We came here with a 10, 8 and 5 year old and had a great time. We saved some money with Kellogg's vouchers which is well worth doing with any Merlin venue and it worked out around £80 for 5 of us.
The set up is like the Dungeons and it's very, very well done, incredibly engaging for the kids and they totally loved it. They do very well to get the audience engaged and the kids came out raving about it. This part is 5 star, do it, it's well worth it.

The reason I gave this a 4 and not a 5 was due to the end process. You're naturally told to pose for photos as you go around which inevitably lead you to being offered a £32 picture package at the end. I don't have a problem with that at all as you don't have to buy it, but the way we were "sold" it was awful. It was a half hearted attempt to push a picture book. The girl couldn't be bothered, didn't make any eye contact, wasn't engaging and made you feel part of a inconvenient process. I doubt anyone would buy off her as she was just not engaging.

Don't let that put you off though, that's just the end bit, the rest of it is an incredibly engaging story, well told with a mix of real life characters and animated friends throughout.

Thoroughly enjoyable.
