Have eaten here many times but last week came out of the pub next door to see a repossession sign in the window of the restaurant under the terms of a will. Great shame if this is true as it was a local favourite of ours

Went here for the first time on 17th March. Tiny place but food was really good one of the best chicken tikka masalas I've had and I've eaten many. Service was a little slow but we caught the restaurant at a time where all tables needed serving at once. The staff were hugely attentive and made up for the waiting but I'd rather wait and have my food cooked fresh anyway. We ordered a cab and were offered a free drink as there was a bit of a wait. Will definitely be going back.

This place used to be amazing, great food and service, but unfortunately it has gone downhill dramatically. Every time I've ordered from there recently they have got my order wrong or forgotten something, and they are now massively over priced based on the quality of the food, sad times.

Visited on a cold snowy night , and oo it was very cold in there. Debated whether to stay or not . Unhappy at being positioned by the toilets despite booking a table in advance .Food OK. Wine very reasonably priced .Young waiter very nice, older man rude rude rude . Would not take our food order when we ordered drinks. just said 'no' , waved his hand dismissively and walked off . Younger guy came about 10 mins later with his ipad and took the order,he was very professional and engaging ,and understood the need for allergy concern . Older guy just dumped the dishes with no acknowledgement that the allergy sufferers dish was the correct one .This chap needs training fast ! We were under a time pressure as some had a train to get later on (which is why I had wanted to order food with drinks ) . hmm. We ate and then our guests left and we paid the bill . Young man offered us a liquor which we refused but was a nice offer and appreciated .

The writing was on the wall as we walked in. No greeting. Went to use the facilities. No soap and a dysfunctional hand dryer. Waiter came to take our order and just raised his eyebrows as a sign that we should start speaking. King Prawn puree starter with shells left on the prawns. The chicken massala sauce hid a multitude of sins with dry token chicken pieces. My colleagues Tikka dry and over cooked. One couple came in sat down and left within a few minutes. Don't know the reason, but they made the right decision.
