This was my second time at London Grind, an experience which was marred by awful service.
We made a reservation for 7 a month ago so I was disappointed when we were given a tiny table meant for 4 people which they expected us to squeeze into.
Apparently that was only the start of the poor service which continued throughout our brunch. Firstly, our waiter got very visibly annoyed when he couldn't hear our orders. He was sighing and rolling his eyes as we tried to make ourselves heard over the brunch crowd which was very unappreciated.
When we were given a dirty cup for tea and requested a new one, another waitress stomped off to find a clean cup which was followed by a few staff members angrily pointing at our table, seemingly pissed at the fact that we had dared to ask for a cup which didn't have stains.
It just didn't seem like the waiters didn't want to be there and they weren't making a secret of it. Unsurprisingly, this made for quite an unpleasant meal which even the good food could not salvage.
I have eaten at some other branches before where I didn't have such a hostile experience so it's a shock. Perhaps it's better off avoiding this branch.
