I know it's pedantic to slag off one of the world's most iconic tourist attractions. But when it opens while you're queuing to get across the romance fades. There, I said it.

We drove over it, boated under it and walked across. A must do in London. We ran out of time to go up inside and onto the glass walk way, but we were all thrilled to get up, close and personal with this wonderful landmark.

Combine the bridge with a nice walk over the south bank. Great place to enjoy the skyline of this mega city. We went from Waterloo to the river, and then in a two hour walk down to the Tower Bridge. During this walk you will pass also the Millenium Bridge and the London Bridge.
