Such a shame! We were so looking forward to visiting Madame Tussards. The waxworks themselves are amazing and worth the money. We enjoyed ourselves but agreed we would never go back.
Only visit if you are prepared to queue. The queuing starts outside even though we had prebooked. There are about 7 different queues which are so long you can't find the end. When you ask the staff are rude. We were told that you can join the queue at the time that you chose online so we were not impressed that this meant that you wouldn't be able to go in when you think you will. This is not made clear when booking.
It was school holidays so you expect it to be busy but really it seemed like chaos and I was so disheartened I very nearly just went home.
When inside you queue to get into the different rooms and then queue to take photos as clearly everyone wants a sit with Emma Watson, Daniel Craig and Barack Obama. Remember not everyone is happy to queue and just push in something my 14 year old couldn't understand.
Please don't take kids hoping to see the Marvel Superheroes as they will be disappointed. You see Hulk, Hawkeye, Captain America and Iron Man waxworks but they are really just to keep you busy while you queue for the 4d Marvel Superheroes film which is over very quickly and a little oversold.
We would recommend eating your sandwiches in the park behind and then walking down Baker Street to Selfridges and Bond Street afterwards.
