We visited Darwin for lunch on Easter Sunday and were very impressed. It's a really original and well presented venue with some great touches: clean, simple tables with cutlery drawers so that they don't get cluttered; citrus-filled complementary iced water and beautifully designed jugs; and smaller sharing plates so that this is made easier. We ordered roast chicken for two, with all nearly sides (roast potatoes, tenderstem, honey glazed spiced carrots twice; the cauliflower cheese we gave a miss to!) and it was exceptional. Piled high, with surrounding meaty juices on a large platter, it was incredibly moist and well seasoned. The sides too were perfectly cooked and moorish. Before this, the shared bites of beef cheek arancini and goats cheese croquettes were a perfect foil for this: light, fragrant and delicious. We look forward to going back for the a a la carte
