We had previously visited this cafe rouge and the service was excellent and the food came quickly and was delicious. Visited on the 31.03.18 it wasn't busy with only 3 other tables there. We waited 30 minutes for our starter of the sharer board which was lovely, and then waited over an hour for our main meals, I had the 'club Croques' which cost £11.25 when it arrived it was cold, with 4 anaemic burned chicken strips, a single piece of lettuce and a measly sprinkle of pancheta. My boyfriend said his duck was very tasty, however I was unable to eat this poor quality food.
When we told the waiter about this he gave us no apology or reason why this had been served to me. The manager gave us £20 off the final bill which I was very grateful for however I will not be returning.
