I’ve been to the farmers arms a number of times now and it’s always been great service and had a good atmosphere.

The pub is warm and welcoming, and looks so even better since Covid. The staff always make sure it’s clean and are happy to help with recommendations. The beer garden is huge and there’s always space, even when it’s really sunny. I’ve eaten at the pub a few times as well and it’s always been great. There’s a good menu choice and the food it always hot and fast. I’m happy we can order at the bar again and the staff always seem really happy be there. The new landlord is always really happy to welcome new customers or regulars. Great local pub.

Visited here Monday afternoon, lovely little pub, nicely decorated with a great atmosphere.
We ordered steak and ale pie and a chicken and bacon salad and could not believe our eyes at the portion sizes! It was absolutely beautiful, pie was one of the best pies I’ve had! Beats a chippy pie anyway and my friends salad was huge! Well worth the money!
The girls were so friendly and very attentive can’t fault the service, they both deserve a raise!

It’s such a deceiving little pub….it’s not little! The beer garden is huge and well maintained which I can imagine is difficult, there is always something going on to enjoy and events to partake in!
Lovely to see so much happening for Macmillan as well!
100% returning

I have had the best evening here the other day!
Me my partner and my daughter came in for some drinks and food! All the staff were very welcoming from the get go!
We ordered lots of sides and three mains the food was cooked to perfection and my little girl got an amazing chocolate Sunday for her desert topped with m&m’s!

We were greeted by both the manager and the assistant manager and they were both the most loveliest people! We had told both of them that there staff do an exceptional job of running a happy and homely pub!
The outside area was clean and tidy and my daughter was able to run around without having to constantly watch her to make sure that she was safe!

100% recommend going here and the chefs and all bar staff are absolutely great will be going in again!

They also have an amazing raffle on for Macmillan which is great to see some support to a charity with in a pub!

We swung past for a quick meeting, ended up staying all afternoon and into the evening. A great little pub, some good food (we ate twice) and the beer rivals that of anything in Manchester and dare I say london. Fred and the Team run a great pub, a real gem in an ‘interesting’ area - good job all.

We shall certainly be returning when in the area.

Thanks again.
