We had the circle to ourselves when we arrived about an hour before sunset. We took several minutes to walk around and take photos as the sun sank lower in the sky. What a wonderful feeling to be there as the sun set and think of all the years that has passed since those ancients set the stones! A free family activity at the heart of the region.

This is a beautiful place to visit. It is surrounded by the Pennines and the views are spectacular. The Stone Circle holds a positive energy and we loved spending time there, and so did our Bassett Hound! A perfect place to bring a picnic and enjoy just being!

Situated in an elevated and isolated location, we were able to experience the Stones in perfect isolation. The 360 Degree views of the surrounding Lakeland mountains were breath taking.
A must visit when you’re in Keswick. Highly Recommend

This is a must see when visiting the Lakes District. It is a magical place and wonderful that you can wander amongst the stones and get a real feel for the place. Nestled on a noll surrounded by beautiful mountains and grags. It is a very special place.
