An exciting, unique venue that combines alcoholic and soft drinks, fantastic food, great coffee, theatre, music, arts and events. Kardomah94 stirs memories of the popular chain of Kardomah cafes, found across the UK in the early 1900s until the 1960s, while introducing a fresh new look and style. Kardomah94 stocks a wide range of local and world beers, wines and chamnpagnes. Sit back, relax and enjoy a local ale, or enjoy one of our 'house wines' with friends, opened for you at your table. The Kardomah Gang,The Kardomah Boys, or Kardomah Group was a group of bohemian friends - artists, musicians, poets and writers - who, in the 1930s, frequented the Kardomah Cafe in Castle Street, Swansea, Wales. Regulars included poets Charles Fisher, Dylan Thomas, John Prichard and Vernon Watkins, composer and linguist Daniel Jones, artists Alfred Janes and Mervyn Levy, Mabley Owen and Tom Warner. The cafe, opposite the offices of the Evening Post newspaper where Thomas and Fisher worked, was where the group drank coffee and discussed many subjects including Einstein & Epstein, Greta Garbo, Stravinsky, death, religion and Picasso. Kardomah94 is a cafe, bar, restaurant and events venue, established with the aim of creating a vibrant, unique and exciting showcase of all that is good in hull. Enjoy our incredible food, fantastic selection of drinks, and immerse yourself in the art, music, theatre and culture of this great city.

Wonderful, wafer thin pizza. Good choice of vegetarian meals and light bites. No draught beer but reasonable price for bottles and wine.

Having wandered around the city and exploring I stumbled across Kardomah 94.

I didn't want a mainstream coffee shop, I wanted something different. My finding offered me that.

Greeted with a friendly smile and although the venue was empty the place has a great feel about it.

Littered with event posters and with a trendy loft interior it was a great place to kick back and chill for a little while.

Americano and Victoria Sponge was an absolute treat!

So, you want a place for a brew from a place that is not a 'high street chain' then check it out! Moments from the museum's.

Enjoy, like I did

Came to watch jack gleadow in his comedy show. Drinks were good and was offered a seat in the show before which guaranteed our seats for the night. Fab little place and jack was amazing as always.

Greeted at the door; was lovely, you’re free to sit where ever you liked I therefore sat in the window, the Christmas menu started in November so we therefore decided to try the Christmas board, and what a treat it was too, juicy turkey with stuffing and canberry sauce toasted olive bread and delightful accompaniments. Absolutely delicious and I would recommend anyone to go down and have a try!

Fantastic, (large!), pizzas. Really pleasant, friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. we asked them to keep some boxed up pizza cool for us til end of night and no problem.
Also a great little friendly music/events venue. Had a great evening and good to see they seem to have regular attendees who are a very attentive audience. Always good to see talented musicians getting support. Overall brilliant, we will be returning!
