The rooms have a little bit of a feeling of a youth hostel about them, but they’re quiet, clean, cool, the air-con worked brilliantly on a hot day (note: if it’s below 21C outside they switch to blowing warm air), the room blacked out, and the shower was great. There’s free Wi-fi and the bed comfort and room size were perfectly in order.
You wouldn’t want to come here for an extended break, but for an overnight you really don’t need much more. I’ve stayed in considerably more expensive hotels where light pours in at 4am, the a/c doesn’t work, or the water pressure is terrible.
A tad pricey at £69/ night but that’s the U.K. £49 or £59 would be more like it, but you can’t have everything. More
