We dined in Flynns Restaurant during our last dinner in Cheltenham. Once we entered a kind waitress welcomed us prior to our reservation and gave us a nice table for our family to enjoy our meal.

We ordered various different types of dishes such as the deep fried squid, the pork belly, the seafood linguine and also the risotto, accompanied by the club sandwich. Food was generally well made in English style with fresh ingredients used. Although the squid was a little bit lacked of taste, the other dishes served was well made, delicious and leading this to be an enjoyable meal.

Service was great in this restaurant, with our meal finished under an hour due to the swift service with staff bringing in our dishes as fast as possible. With enjoyable service and good ambience it helps enlighten the meal as great as possible.

Pricing was relatively reasonable with the final bill at around 50 pounds, causing this to be a cost-effective and worthy meal overall. With good quality food accompanied with swift service and nice ambience around, this meal was a great one compared to some of the others in this UK Trip 2017. Well Done!

The first time we visited about a month ago,was 5 * food and service, we could not fault it. We have decided to book again and treat our family in 3 weeks time, as we absolutely raved about our experience. We were shopping this weekend in Cheltenham, so decided to go for Sunday lunch, as it was not busy there. We waited 10 minutes for menus to arrive, 30 minutes for a drink to arrive and food finally arrived just under the hour! We thought they forgot us, the waiter came and cracked jokes about the wait and the length of time we were waiting, and said I think the chef is still trying to catch the lamb! The lamb should of been served with mint gravy/sauce, the waiter came back as we almost finished and said "oh I should of brought you some mint gravy, but never mind". All as I can say is, I hope they step up to the mark when we visit in a few weeks!

Flynn's always offers lovely food and a pleasant atmosphere. We were a relatively large group which could perhaps explain the 35 minute wait for our food but when it came it was delicious; I would highly recommend the calves liver!

The wine was nice, if not a bit on the expensive side, but this didn't detract from the overall experience.

Hope to visit again.

The lunch was 2 courses with wine. The first course was a carrot coriander soup, and the second course was a cod and mussle in a green curry coconut sauce. It was all very delicious!
