The Daffodil used to be a cinema in the 1920s. Now it's a restaurant redesigned tastefully with its Art Deco splendour intact by Laurence Llewelyn Bowen in 2008. The surroundings are glorious. The food is glorious. The service is glorious. £160-£200 for four but worth it as a treat at any time of year. Street parking outside or nearby. Check it out. You won't regret it. A standout eatery in an upmarket town full of outstanding restaurants.
