A few friends popped in here expecting to settle in for a couple of hours before our football match later that evening but we quickly realised that the shabby chic look was accompanied by a rather grubby feel about the place.

We orders drinks and rested up on one of the sofas but just wasn't feeling the place, there was no warmth or vibe - one of those things you can't put your finger on. The beers weren't great either so we decided we couldn't stay and set off in search of somewhere better.

Popped in as our local pub, decided to try the food, some is obviously bought in such as the pizza's but we had Halloumi burgers and it was really nice,, very simple grilled halloumi. Lettuce and tomatoes in a bun. Have a nice selection of gins also and fever tree tonic!! Also 241 so food only cost £8 definitely worth it!

We had pizza here when we met our friends at cheltenham for a reunion. The bar staff could not have been more friendly - they gave us great tips on where to eat and drink - and where not to. The pizza was less than £8 and had a stuffed crust - it was good and filled a spot before we ate later that night. The wine was reasonably priced and nice. The bar was busy and well decorated. Try it if you are in Cheltenham.

Called in for a drink on the way back to town after a good day at the races.
We pulled up a couple of chairs to rest our feet and the landlord came over and told us to move as we couldn't sit there. He started to move the table and told us to move our drinks. When we asked why we couldn't sit there he rudely said "Because I said so...!!!" no explanation just an extremely rude and ignorant man, especially after we had just spent £40 on drinks.
