Visited on a cold windy day.
A lovely, clean, entertaining pier. Lots to do (at a cost). Traditional English beach food and snacks, arcade, restaurant small traditional fairground rides although these were 4.50 each!
Lots of large seagulls but these didn't cause a problem lots of photo opportunities free deckchairs and FREE access to the pier.
Parking is expensive so park in the Debenhams car park in the shopping centre and walk up much cheaper.
We will return on a warmer day!

We visited as a family of 5 and found the pier welcoming although somewhat overloaded with fast food outlets. There are plenty of arcade games to stimulate and amuse everyone. We moved onto the attractions at the end of the pier where the children enjoyed some of the rides available. The prices seemed expensive, which limited how many rides they could go on but we made the most out of the visit anyway. We had a nice time and I’d go back if we were in Brighton again.

The Palace pier has everything you would expect and more. All the favourites like hot sugar donuts, candy floss, candy galore and hot food. There is a lovely restuarant In the centre which sell fish and chips (just watch the seagulls). The pier offers so much entertainment! My teenage son actually managed to enjoy himself (and smile). The fun fair at the end of the pier is amazing as are the arcades. It has so many tiny stalls and shops to enjoy. Fairgrounds stalls, like knock the cans over and win a cuddly toy. The sunset was absolutely beautiful, we watched it from a bar at the end with our drinks. We all had a fantastic, fun filledafternoon.

Brighton palace pier offers an indoor arcade, roller coasters and various restaurants and snack bars. The pier could use a renovation seeing as the decor and furniture remind me of the 70’s, but being a staple of Brighton life, keeping it the way it is might be quite intentional. Small selection of rides, one of which is very exciting - it catapults you into the air over the English Channel. Other than that, the pier is quite dead. Perhaps good for an afternoon stroll. I must add that the pier is quite romantic at night where you can see the beautiful lights of Brighton’s sea front.
