The hotel was a in the town centre, our room was booked on the internet was very small, the bed was about 130 cm wide and 190 long, we did not know these rooms still existed. The service was poor , a drink at the bar could not be booked on the hotel biill, but had to be payed at the reception!!

Room Tip: ask about the bedsize

Couldn't recommend this hotel more to book as a venue for a wedding reception. The staff were amazing as was the venue. The food was also 5*. Couldn't fault anything at all. They made our special day even better.

We stayed here for one night. Very clean hotel, excellent customer service. Very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable staff. The food was excellent, the quality of presentation was impressive. The waiter Luke displayed high level customer service skills that we haven't seen in a long time. All the staff we met during our time there were professional.
The room was very clean, the leisure facilities also.
Overall, we thought this was a gem of a hotel in Plymouth.

Visited Plymouth with a coach party. to see the fireworks and visit places in Devon.
Hotel is very centrally placed, very modern reception and bar area, though bar area could get quite busy. Reception staff very helpful, very quick check in service. I had a couple of issues in my room with the shower, which was dealt with very promptly, only downsize my room was quite small and as I was unable to open the window wide and at night had to close it due to traffic noise, was supplied with a very good fan.
We ate in the Executive restaurant, breakfasts were good and cooked to order, choice of fruit and cereal, staff were very helpful and efficient. As we were with a coach trip, we had a evening meal in the evenings, starters and deserts were fine but main meal was a little disappointing, same vegetables four nights running an little imagination.
Overall good central hotel, everywhere very clean, didn't find the hotel tired and dated, as previous reviewers remarked.

As a single night city stop, this was close to the centre and attractions and had the advantage of a small parking area for those arriving early.

The reception was friendly and professional, the room clean and spacious (507) with a small shower room.

The asterisk is for the cramped shower with a mouldy shower head and weird noises as it ran.

Public areas are well maintained and well staffed.
