Q - How do you breathe new life into an old, underused theatre?
A - Arrange for Le Navet Bete to perform there
I was a bit worried that moving from the intimate atmosphere of the Barbican Theatre to the somewhat ordinary surroundings of the Athenaeum for their new production, "Dracula, The Bloody Truth", would lessen the magic of seeing Le Navet Bete. But I should have had no fears, because they were as brilliant as ever. In fact, I think this is the best show they have done. Meticulous in its attention to detail, the complexity of this roller-coaster performance sometimes defied belief. I always leave their shows exhausted. You cannot cry laughing for 2 hours without suffering damage to your rib muscles. This is a fantastic show and Le Navet Bete are capable of dazzling audiences regardless of the venue.

Went to see the excellent Le Navet Bete in their brilliant and very funny production of Dracula - The Bloody Truth. Was the first time I'd been in this theatre for over 30 years and the visit brought back many happy memories. Nice venue and so pleased that it's being used again after the link up with the also excellent Barbican Theatre.
