We booked here to attend a funeral, my mother in-laws. I wanted my wife to have a nice room, quiet etc, to make this trip as bearable as possible .
I was surprised and disappointed that on arrival the building was having some building work done, i do not suppose this was a problem, we are easy going people, just would of been nice to be told.
we also wasn't told that to get to our apartment we had to climb 90 stairs as there was no lift, again we could live with this, could probably do with the extra exercise to be honest.
what i couldn't deal with is that on our return to the apartment after a lovely meal in town (10:30 pm ) we were welcomed back by a group of people having a very loud party in the room below us, typical younger people, no respect for others or the surroundings, we had doors banging, pumping music, girls screaming in the hall ways, bad language, just typical yobbish behavior, which is very intimidating to a family. we put up with this behavior for well over an hour, people ringing our door bell, running up and down the stairs etc etc before they decided to go out on the town.
at this point i wanted to call the landlord but was discouraged from doing so by my wife due to the fact that we were the only other people in the building, and if a complaint was made, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to work out who made it ! so through fear of getting hassle from them, a call wasn't made.
we finally got off to sleep about 1am, to be woke again at 4:40 am when the group returned home, even louder, more drunk than before, the doors started slamming, the music got put back on, the screaming and shouting again etc etc, then to add to it, the taxi drivers outside the building started ringing our bell to see if we had booked taxis etc etc etc, we laid awake until 5:30 when it finally went quiet, but at this point my family was all awake so decide that there was no point attempting to get back to sleep as we had to get up shortly anyway and go and say our final goodbye to Mum.
im so disappointed and feel really let down, the guest handbook you get on arrival clearly states that parties are a no no, that only people that have booked in and paid can stop in the building, its a shame the landlords never took the time to make sure that the rules they have in place are enforced, this whole experience could of been so much different if they made regular checks on the building and the people occupying the apartments.
Gutted !! will never return.

Cost £211 one night for my wife and I. The entrance and hall ways are a building site, with many trip hazards and an open lift shaft protected with an unsecured board. The appartment is at the very best minimalist with poor cheap furnishings and very grubby. Parking ,communication and access to the rooms all poor, although we were eventually met by a gentlman who showed us where to park and was helpful. It would have been better if we could have spoken to him on the telephone but his battery was flat.
We cannot recommend this on any level, much better local hotels nearby at a third of the price.
In one word Horrible

Room Tip: to choose a good room go somewhere else

Aside from probably the best location for a visit to Plymouth, this was such a beautiful apartment to stay in, with attention to every detail of style and comfort taken into consideration. We used the ground floor, dog-friendly apartment, but were shown around the other apartments by the caretakers and would definitely book here again if returning with a larger family group.

Our second stay in this homely and highly well appointed accomodation. Views are fantastic over the hoe and Plymouth sound, and all within easy walking dustance of the city centre. A ‘no brainer’ when weighing up against equivalent hotel accomodation and parking. We will be back!

We travelled to Plymouth for a family funeral and stayed at Elliot Terrace. The lady who we spoke to, Jacqui was fantastic and so helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was amazing! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
