“Disappointing sandwich”

Great place for a snack, lovely pies etc, but if you want a sandwich that will fill you up don't bother. £5.50 for a sandwich with the thinnest smallest piece of ham possible and barely any filling. For some reason olives were added (didn't say olives when it was ordered) which I cannot stand, so it was a complete failure for me personally.
If they were a bit more generous with the sandwiches it would be great but I felt ripped off.

I’m so sorry you were disappointed with your sandwich. The palma ham one does come with Gordal Olives and is one of our most popular sandwiches. We try really hard to make sure that the sandwich is pretty full of filling, not sure what happened with yours.

We would love the chance to serve you again.

Thanks for the review.

Excellent food and coffee, big variety, pleasant people. Also fascinating location to watch the world go by in the middle of Penzance.

Sweet little cafe/deli perched on a busy corner of Penzance. Great for people watching especially the more characterful members of the community.
The coffee was great, the tea was good and the range of pies and quiches were excellent. I had steak and ale and her ladyship had a butternut squash thing. One with a delicious coleslaw and one with a bountiful beetroot salad.
Visually there is a lot of deli items on sale, beautifully arranged to the credit of the owner who has an eye for detail.
The whole experience was great.

lovely coffee and home made cakes and savouries We enjoyed and recommend the Eccles cakes and the Socca. Whenever we are in Penzance this little Deli is a must for us. The service has always been good, and we often buy some of the deli items to take home with us
