Had a pleasant one night stay at the Fistral Beach hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the room was nice as was the Bar, convenient parking too. Great view from the bar and restaurant. Spent a while in the Spa which was nice, clean as well as quiet whilst we were there.Location was good and conveniently located to walk in to town, not as far as we'd thought.Knocking off one star as some of the decor around the dining room, stair well and corridors was looking a bit tired, and a couple of occasions where the waiting staff could have been more attentive. Breakfast was nice enough although I'd say the cooked course was adequate rather than great.Overall would recommend to friends.

We had a rare weekend without the children and went here for my birthday. The food was great, standards in the hotel were top notch, and the spa was lovely and relaxing. The pool was really good, and the wife got me a massage, which I wasn’t too keen on having, as not had one before-however afterwards really enjoyed it and felt fully chilled out. Would love to come back, 10/10, definitely worth the money, their attention to detail was amazing.

We really loved the decor of the hotel. The rooms were smaller than we pictured for the price but nevertheless the views made up for it. Unfortunately, it was a very cold and windy weekend that we stayed and the seal on the balcony doors were completely bust. We had to eventually use the bed runner and pillows to place against the doors to keep the draft out as we were so cold even in bed. Reception did quickly phone us after arrival asking if everything was okay. My partner did explain that the room was cold and they said that the heating had been turned on and it should heat up. Unfortunately later on in the evening, we realised that the problem was the doors. We had already asked to see if there was an upgrade available on arrival and as we were staying only one night, we did not want to move rooms for the sake of a night. We did express this on departure but unfortunately no one from the hotel has responded to our feedback left in the room. For the price, I did expect an apology. I would only recommend if it was the middle of summer and there was no wind forcast!

My husband and I are well travelled and have stayed in some very nice hotels, we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

On arrival parking was effortless, we were offered a drink and sat in the comfortable bar overlooking the beautiful Fistral beach while the friendly receptionist filled in our paperwork. We were offered help with our luggage but declined. We opted for a standard room and were pleased with ours (239) which was immaculately clean including the bathroom. The bed was in two parts, it did have a mattresses topper but I was aware of this although it didn’t interfere with our sleep. Bathroom robes and towels were brilliantly white and plentiful, the provided toiletries were particularly nice. The shower was fine but not especially powerful. We found the pillows rather hard and requested they be changed for softer ones, this did not happen and I assume softer pillows weren’t available, this is one of a very few areas we feel the hotel could improve. Complementary teas, coffee and water were provided.
Public areas have a relaxed, grown up feel but we’re a bit hot for us, the entire hotel is very clean (thank you very much housekeeping).
We were delighted with the breakfast selection vegetarians and vegans are catered for here superbly well and my meat eating husband enjoyed his too. Coffee in the morning came in a personal cafetière which yielded several cups as did the teapot which, oh deep joy, had real tea leaves all complemented by a breathtaking view over the beach.
Breakfast on the second morning came without things listed and we were told there was a different chef but it was rectified promptly and was as the previous morning’s had been, delicious. We didn’t dine in Dune in the evening but again it was very impressive that vegetarians and vegans were catered for and the menu sounded very tasty.

We used the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi; towels were provided but I had to ask for them because they’d run out. We had a pleasant time here and found it clean, relaxing and not at all crowded; the pool water was a bit too cool for us. Our package included a complementary hour treatment each in the spa which is a lovely area, we both had a full body massage and it was excellent thank you.

Every member of staff we met was friendly, efficient, well presented and clearly well trained; well done. We considered our spa package to be excellent value and would happily return to this lovely hotel.
