Room was clean and tidy but stuffy. Bathroom clean and good hot water. Fan provided was essential as room was hot. 'View' from window was the worst I'd seen,; rusting and grey wall, damp and broken drain cover, no attempt at foliage, HORRENDOUS requested room with sea view but not given.

Newquay travelodge was comfy and clean with a lift for those less able to climb the stairs, and a cafe/restaurant on the 1st floor which was good.We had a room overlooking the beach with fantastic views day and night, with a soundtrack to match. The parking was poor but, overall a nice clean tidy hotel with good staff.

We had a lovely sea view room which was spotlessly clean. The staff were all very pleasant and went that extra mile. This Travelodge is ideally situated close to the railway station and to the centre of Town. On the right hand side of the Travelodge there is a path, a short cut to the town centre. This saves you walking up a hill.

Room tip: Best rooms for a sea view are odd numbers on the second floor.

This is the first time I’ve stayed in a Travelodge, and I’m quite surprised at how basic it is. The price wasn’t what I would class as cheap, considering a premier inn is cheaper and a lot higher standard.

When you walk through the corridors it feels a bit like a hospital, and the shower room is tiny and extremely basic.

Not the best place to stay, but the location is good and if you get it at a decent price it’s ok.

Spent 2 nights which was the first time we had used this travelodge and I must compliment the cleanliness of the room and the staff who were so friendly
We shall definitely use this again when we wish to have a quick Cornwall fix
