We stayed here for three nights and were very comfortable. We had a great view over the sea and could hear the waves crashing which was amazing. The room was clean and pleasant temperature, not too warm. It was quieter than we expected as it is right upstairs from a supermarket but this didn't bother us at all. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and our room was large. There was no car parking at the hotel though. You can get away with parking for a very short time on the supermarket car park (just to unload) but to park overnight can be quite expensive so you'd have to budget for this. Because we were out of season we found that there were nearby streets we could park on for free without restrictions but in summer I should imagine this might be a bit more difficult. This is in a great location, though, with a nice path up to the town centre just at the side of the hotel. It isn't far to the beaches, aquarium, shops, etc. The hotel also has its own bar and eatery, but on the same road are plenty of restaurants and bars so you don't have to go far for an evening out either. This is one of the best Travelodges we have stayed at, and we would definitely return.

The hotel is fine, the staff friendly, and its position good, hense the good rating. The only problem we had is where to park the car, and this can mean parking it some way away in areas that are not that secure.

Room Tip: Rooms not that big

This was my 4th Travelodge of the week (I cant find the others to review) and what a view! The very kind, efficient receptionist gave a room with a view - floor to ceiling glass, looking out over the cliffs, beach and sea! Made the long journey worth it. Standard T-lodge with clean, functional rooms and helpful staff. Parking can be expensive depending on where you end up. Easy access to the beach and local shops. Great curry house just down the road too.

A good value for money stay. We had a sea view which was lovely. The hotel is in a good location, asda, Wetherspoons and aldi all near by. Parking £5 a day not far away. Would stay again. Tea and coffee in the rooms with free extras from reception.

Room Tip: Lovely and warm, comfortable bed, good shower.
