We return to Land’s end after 12 years so we decided to have a breakfast in the restaurant. The food was very good , the staff friendly and professional. The views from the restaurant are the best , you can see Scilly islands and the sun sets in the sea.

The hotel has without a doubt the best view. Rooms are very nice, although it does get a bit hot. But we requested a fan, and that helped. It was an unusually hot few days in Lands End. The food was very good in the restaurant. Enjoyable breakfast. I know the sunny days are few, but the dining area definately needs some kind of awning as the setting sun hits you directly in the face, up to 9 pm in the summer. The WiFi and phone signal is really bad. Very erratic.
I felt though, that as this is a very popular hotel, and busy all the time, there is a certain kind of dis connect from the staff. It's like you check in, and you get on with it. The front desk staff were very nice, but the staff behind the bar and particularly in the restaurant are clearly there JUST to do their job. I think a little interaction on their part would be nice, rather than tired, glum faces at breakfast time. I think the waiter at breakfast needed a holiday himself! The pub near the hotel, First and Last, I think it is called, is not that great, better to eat the delicious food at the hotel.

Room tip: Most rooms are sea facing, so good views

We booked one night in the Land's End Hotel via Secret Escapes. As the hotel has a virtual monopoly in the area, we were not expecting it to be all that great, however, it exceeded any reasonable expectations.
Our room had an ocean view, partly obstructed by the roof to a lower floor, but nonetheless, it was spectacular, especially at sunset.
The bathroom was very nice, with great quality toiletries provided.
Our deal included a Cornish cream tea, which was a bit mediocre, but the dinner made up for this: it was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning.
We had a slight issue with one of our desserts, but it was handled exceptionally well.
Staff were first class.
There is ample parking very close to the entrance.
We enjoyed our stay in a great hotel in this beautiful area and wish we had stayed for more than just one night. We will be back.

Room tip: We would recommend the ocean view rooms.

Stayed here for one night while touring Devon & Cornwall. We stayed in room 28 which was a superior double room with sea view and what a lovely view it was, stunning!! The room and ensuite were very clean and a good size. We had a drink at the bar before we went into dinner, no atmosphere at all, it was like having a drink in a service station!! I think this hotel would improve greatly if there was a bar area like an old fashion Cornish pub where you could sit and chill with friends. Wasn't overly keen on the shopping village with all the attractions either.

Arrived at the hotel ,which is in the most wonderful setting on the edge of Land’s End cliff top, to be met by very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room . Good breakfast served in lovely conservatory with beautiful views over the sea. Lovely sitting outside watching the sunset . Great walks in stunning scenarios. Only thing to be aware of is that there are no lifts in this hotel.
