We booked a superior, Seaview double with breakfast for our 2 night stay. We had room #103 on the first floor at the front of the hotel. There was no air conditioner in the room but windows and door opened to allow a lovely cross breeze, so no issue. It had a balcony at the front and also one at the side which had a table and 2 chairs. Our room was as described on the website. It had a king bed (2 twins zipped), very comfy pillows and duvet although the mattress was a little on the thin side. The room was quite large, with a queen size sofa bed plus a large comfy lounge chair. Everything was very clean and the room was beautifully decorated. The bathroom had nice big towels and spa bath with a shower overhead. The water pressure was brilliant. Plenty of tea & coffee facilities and complimentary water provided. The breakfast offerings were fairly good, with some “cooked to order” options as well as the buffet. Lovely bar area and drinks at reasonable prices. There were lots of staff who, while seemed young and inexperienced, were polite and helpful. The hotel takes you back to how things were in years gone by. Right on the shore front, easy walk into the harbour district with great views of Pendennis Castle. Couldn’t fault anything with the exception of the car park, which while it was free,...We booked a superior, Seaview double with breakfast for our 2 night stay. Couldn’t fault anything with the exception of the car park, which while it was free, was difficult to find a spot as beach goers also used it even though is for guests and the surface was difficult to wheel a suitcase. The outside of the hotel looks like it needs a little maintenance but inside was lovely. Would definitely stay again.More
