We visited on the Bank Holiday Monday and there was an Easter Egg Hunt available for children which my son really enjoyed.

There’s a lot to see from the Keep to the Batteries and one of the guns was being fired whilst we were there.

The staff were very polite and helpful.

There were also a number of things for young children to see and do including craft tables.

Within the Keep there were a number of projectors showing scenes of defenders firing cannons and men discussing attacks.

The cafe had a good selection of food and drink on offer and as usual, the gift shop had some good quality products available.

It’s worth a visit if you’re a member and in the area and could take 2-3 hours to walk around and see everything, especially if you’re stopping for refreshments

Visited Pendennis Castle again after some time & found it to be as interesting & informative as on previous visits. The staff were friendly, the views are outstanding & well behaved dogs are welcome.
However we got a bit of a shock after visiting the battery at the bottom of the site, to find we had been locked in as the site was closing. Being reasonably fit & active, we ended up having to climb over a gate to actually leave the site! We can laugh about it now but it would have been very scary if we hadn’t been able to get out. Have alerted the staff that they really need to ensure people are out before locking up.
Other than that incident, it was a great visit.

Thank Rachel S
