The Inn is in a very secluded place but popular with locals for good reason. Our room (#2) in the main building was adequate for a one or two night stay. Being in the main building I was a little fearful of noise from the bar area, however this was negligible and we enjoyed a good night of sleep. We were also impressed with the menu and quality of food in the restaurant, where we had an excellent evening meal.
The room itself was a little short on space but adequate for a short stay. The bathroom was also adequate but would benefit from a shower curtain and wall mounted holder for the shower head. Mobile telephone reception was limited but this reflects the rural and secluded nature of the Inn.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service provided could not be faulted. The Inn has an interesting outside area including a little woodland walk and small lake surrounded by an array of trees and shrubs making for a peaceful setting.
Overall, we are certainly glad we chose to stay at the Inn and would have no hesitation in staying again.

Room tip: We had a room in the main building, which was surprisingly quiet despite being above the beer garden area.

Fantastic place to stay, friendly, lovely food, pub & thumbs up all round for the amazing breakfasts, set us up for the day! The garden room that we've had 2 years running is perfect for families as the kids get bunk beds in their own little room, so we all got a good nights sleep in very comfortable beds too. Folk night in the pub on the Sunday evening after a tasty meal including mussels. Beautiful setting and perfect for lovely walks nearby and for getting out & about to the Lizard & Falmouth. Would highly recommend.

Room tip: Ask for the garden rooms for families, there is a bunk room for the kids

Needing a hotel that takes dogs we were fortunate to find the Trengilly Wertha Inn had a room, last one as it happened. Using the sat nav, it took us from Penryn through the tightest of lanes to find this gem.
It has 6 acres of land to wander through, a lake and various spaces of tranquility.
it has a popular restaurant which we discovered after being advised to book.
Our room was charming, clean with a fine en-suite.

We stay in this hotel every year. The menu is outstanding and you are assured of a great welcome. It's a family run inn with a great feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are very good. Interesting garden and surroundings.

Room tip: The annexed rooms are lovely.

Stayed at 'Trengilly Wartha' twice in last few weeks for both a business stop over and when visiting friends in Cornwall. The standout is the great team of staff lead by Lisa and Will who provide great customer service and relaxed atmosphere The food is excellent - both breakfast and evening meals. Loved the John Dorey and sticky toffee pudding!

The inn is in a quiet location, very clean and comfortable. I have already booked my next stay - They will give you a better rate if you book direct.

Room tip: The four poster rooms is larger and has a nice view over the garden
