The property has a super view of the islands. Staff is ever so helpful. It's about 5 minute drive to everything but secluded enough to be a quiet spot. It's a great place for big groups of people. The owners literally do everything and are very polite.

Very good value for the money. Upon check-in met by friendly staff. While unloading motorcycles was greeted by the male owner whom had already gone to our second floor room, had opened the door and welcomed us to their motel. He was most gracious and very accommodating. When he found out we did not have the proper number of bath towels in the room he immediately rectified the situation. A little trouble communicating with his wife upon check-in but she handed me the registration form and I filled same in. She too was always smiling and helpful. This place is a little off the beaten path but well worth finding with map quest. Ideal price and quality for our motorcycle trip up the Sunshine Coast.

Room Tip: Take a second floor room for the view.

After being super disappointed at the Marine Inn, we drove out of town and found this place , They were SUPER friendly and the owner literally ran over with a huge smile and took our bags to our room and was the cutest and nicest man ever.

The room was clean and basic .

We just needed a clean, basic place to stay and this was perfect .

We spent a night here in Aug after our 9 night cottage booking at Blue Heron North was cancelled at the last minute and we had to find alternate accommodation. The rooms are very basic but very clean and the owners were very welcoming. Unfortunately even though we turned off our air conditioning unit we could hear the one next door cycling on and off all night which disturbed our sleep but that is only a problem during hot weather.

Reasonable room price for 2 queen size beds, desk, TV and room frig. Outdoor shaded seating.

Short walk to Townsite Brewery for great craft beer.

The complimentary continental breakfast was way beyond the standard offerings...fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit, great coffee, selection of cereals, toast and jams all in copious quantities. An unexpected surprise.

Room Tip: upstairs is quieter as no one is walking above you. Closer to the breakfast room.

I was in town for work and stayed here as I just needed a cheap place to spend the night. The Asian couple that runs the place were very friendly and helpful and quick to check us in. However the rooms were a bit underwhelming. The bed was fine, although I found it odd that it was located so close to the door and window. It had a nice new TV and new desk and office chair and easy chair. However the bathroom was underwhelming. The toilet (which was green) was very low to the ground and had some white stains all over it and there was a dead centipede in the bathtub. Easy enough to get rid of with a bit of water to wash it down the drain but kind of gross none the less. However the rate was one of the best around so I can't complain too much.

Room Tip: Second Floor higher number rooms have a view of the water (and the mill)
