We love this lovely spot in the county. Great spot to go for a walk, swim or sit and relax and enjoy the view.
If you don't have 4 wheel drive you should park on the main road and walk in to shoreline.
On this visit it was a busy day and we were invade by four ATV and we actually left as the noise was ridiculous! We will return again and give it another try as it's usually an amazing beach retreat! That's why we gave it 4 stars!

We went May long weekend and because of the rainfall water levels were too high and has covered all the trails. We weren't able to walk along the shoreline at all. We will have to come back anothe

Excellent place to watch a sunset! You have to walk from the road to the shoreline but it's worth it. If you have an all terrain vehicle, you can take it closer to the water, otherwise I'd recommend leaving your vehicle at the road area as you will bottom out or get stuck. Excellent area for natural rock formations, you can see fossils and the amazing sunsets.

Great walk along the stony lakefront but very difficult to get to. Go to the end of the Army road and you end up turning into what looks like someones backyard to park your car.

We found this place by following other cars and it is somewhat hidden as you need to walk through a grassy path to get to the water. It is not packed as a result and the swimming there was great!
