Easy Parking not too busy and a great place for kayaking, supping, etc. Water is pretty warm and calm.

This place gives easy access to beach picnic areas but you could continue on the hikers trails for private beaches or by boards/kayaks to your own private island beach/swim area.

We have been going to Spider Lake for years and it is a great place for a picnic and a swim in this nice clear water. It has gotten a lot busier so this year we went later in the day and it was not so crowded. Perfect beach for little kids.

Its a few miles of the Highway but is probably worth investigating. Very scenic lake with some walks though we did discover you cant fully walk around it. Good carparking though the last bit of the road down is a bit bumpy. Good for photos

This is a nice spot for a picnic, swimming, and kayaking, but it can be busy on the weekends during the summer, so best to get there early. The lake is on the smaller size but there is quite a bit of beach area. There are some trails to walk around the edge of the lake in parts. Would be great if the trails could be expanded but I believe there are some private homes which are lakefront so that probably won't be possible.
