Stayed here years ago...not much has changed, but everything is more than fine. Great chalets...all you need, even a BBQ on the deck. It was cold and wet on this visit...but the view and the fire made it all wirk fir us. Great staff...really helpful ... Great

A comfortable place for two people sharing the bed, don't be fooled by the description of an L-shape couch (formed by 2 single beds), these so-called beds are in fact a fixed box covered by a foam mattress, calling them beds is a laugh, one must put the coffee table between them to stop from rolling on the floor. Room service was nonexistent, garbage in room. Three adults were in booking but bath towels wash cloths etc for two provided, not enough dished either! Too bad the units are as close to the busy noisy highway.

Coming from Alberta a view of the Ocean was important to us. These Chalets delivered. The resort is located on a busy highway and the ocean is across the road, but if you know that going into it then it is fine. We were able to sit in our living room and look out the large windows to see a cruise ship sail by. The cabins are a little dated but clean. I would call them romantic rustic. There is a story in the room about how the owner made them in the shape of ½ a heart (the upside down bottom half) which is romantic when you look up at it. The fireplace works for heat and the large Jacuzzi tub is a nice touch. My only complaint is the small shower. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and tiny packets of salt and pepper so make sure you bring anything else if you plan to cook.

Nice place to stay, Warm comfortable pet friendly room. Would definitely stay here again. Campbell River motels were full so we spent the night here. Very nice interiors, pictures don't do it justice.

I recently stayed with my grandson for 3 nights. While we had a great time and loved the cabins, it needs some work.
The grounds are very neglected and although I am sure watering has to be kept to a minimum is there any reason all the beds and plant boxes are dry and over run with weeds? Why are the flower boxes falling apart?
There is no maid service other than a tote to put your towels or sheets in and then put on the deck if you require service. A couple were staying 8 nights and no cleaning. Which is fine but it's not a cheap place.
There us a bbq on the deck which us great and we used it but it was very dirty inside and nothing to clean it after use.
This place has such potential but it needs some TLC.
