Owner description: Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a popular oceanside family campground with a popular day-use and beach, conveniently located 22 km north of Courtenay and 22 km south of Campbell River off Hwy 19a. It makes a great home-base while visiting the popular Comox Valley, Campbell River, or for those looking to ferry to nearby islands. Visitors can also find horseback riding, golf, fishing and many other recreational activities in the area. The large family campground is world-renowned and offers 201 non-serviced campsites located under a dense forest canopy. Campers have three flush washroom buildings in the campground as well as a large shower building. Water taps and pit toilets are located throughout the campground. There is also an RV sani-station available to empty waste tanks and to refill water tanks. Campsite reservations are accepted and some first-come first-serve sites are also available.

This is a spot for walkers, campers, families. The trails are tended and there are information boards. Few people were there this week when we visited. This week when we were there we saw seniors, children, and young people: all a positive. Another beautiful public area here in Canada.

We camp here annually and love it for the fun our children have. If you are seeking a romantic getaway find a campsite somewhere else is my recommendation. Unless you love gangs of kids everywhere on bikes.......seriously it is so much fun for the kids they make friends and roam the campgrounds on their bikes. Jerry's Ranger's is fantastic and the beach, well the beach is fantastic everywhere on Vancouver Island. Take your pick.

Very easy walk along flat even trails beside the ocean, several places to get off the path and access the rocky beach.

There is lots of very small resorts by this sandy beach with plenty of RV and cabins available. Expansion has not been allowed for a number of years so it has not been over built.
Great sand for the kids with the ubiquitous logs so very interesting for everyone.
I launched my kayak from here and had a couple of wonderful hours paddling around.
Would definately recommend this location and beach.

Leashed dog walking, campground, day picnic area, majestic ocean view. The campground is similar to many provincial campgrounds in BC with sites that are mixed with cedar and fir trees etc. Water stations, bath house and outhouses part of the camping experience. Park attendants who patrol the area make it a safe family adventure in the great outdoors.
