Get the salad and pizza combo. Plenty of food. The salad was fresh and delicious. The chicken pizza was unique and tasty. Try the cream soda.

When we first arrived in Canmore, we had some time to kill before we could check into our hotel. We ended up walking a bit around the town and found ourselves here. We sat at the bar and I did feel it took longer than it should have for someone to acknowledge us. However, once this happened, service was good. It was lunchtime, so we decided to get a flatbread. While not huge, we were not super hungry so this was perfect to split while drinking a beer. The flatbread was quite tasty and the presentation was good. I think for the area, the price was pretty average, but still was somewhat of sticker shock as something like this back home would have been significantly cheaper. Overall a decent place and if ever in Canmore again, I would not hesitate to stop in.

Hey Hulagirl98, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Sorry our bartender took some time to say hello. Our bartenders do have a big job as they make drinks for the entire restaurant and serve the bar. Regardless, we are sorry for your wait!! Glad to hear you enjoyed everything else though!!! I would like to mention the "sticker shock" comment as there are several reasons why things cost more here. The same way I'm sure you could find a hotel "back home" that would be significantly cheaper, Canmore does have it's expenses. From the cost of organic and local produce, to using a wood burning oven and paying our staff a livable wage, many things effect the price of your flatbread.
It would be nice if prices were the same everything across the board!
Let's start with gas! ;)

Thanks again for the review and hope to see you again!!

A nice place in "downtown" Canmore, just off the Main Street. Wood-fired oven is what greets you at the door and good craft beers and nice local wines. We had a local red wine that was really nice and a better than fair price. The pizza will satisfy a discriminating palate. Quaint setting, so nice for a romantic dinner (I came with 3 little kids and it was good for that too). Very busy, don't come if you're in a rush...

My wife and I recently had dinner here and were very pleased with the quality of the pizza. They use locally grown vegetables in their pizzas. They also are very flexible and will allow you to custom make your own pizza with whatever ingredients you want on your pizza. We also had a craft beer and my wife had a nice glass of wine. For a Saturday night our wait was about 20 minutes.

One thing is that you are not allow to go to the bar and order a drink while you wait. Seems like this policy is costing the business quite a bit of money. Overall nice causal evening.

Having been GF for 8 years, we've tried a lot of different GF pizzas. This is by far the best GF pizza we have had! The crust is actually flavorful and soft, and dare I say, a little bit chewy even (which is unheard of for GF crusts).
They also offer other GF items like bruschetta, which was fantastic. It is a popular spot with limited seating so get there early if you don't want to wait forever or you can order takeout.
