Depending on where you stand this amazing rock looks just like an elephant, its amazing to see it for its vastness in size just standing out in the desert. Definitely worth the drive out to see.

The rock is a gigantic. You can walk under it and feel how small you are compared to the elephant. It seems to be a nice place for camping. But I recommend to visit the area during the cooler seasons as it can get really hot during the summer.

Make sure you get the photo from the angle that looks like an elephant. We didn't stay there long enough to get one that resembles the shot here.

if you are visiting the area of al Ola the amazing two villages , the real tag of being the capital of the rocks is an absolutely accurate tag , you will see the amazing rock formation acted upon by the different environmental causes.
the rock formation in addition to the clear sky where in night your will be amazed by seeing the clarity of the galaxy clearly seen by your naked eye , the sky is astronomical at night
the area though not a big city but the heritage in it is amazing having the rail way stations of alhijaz reaching to the era of al othman rulers of turky before
a great heritage to see
a mosque where the profit mohammed had a prayer in when he passed through the area adds to the value of the place
an amazing mango fruit and dates in this area you should try
