Owner description: An awe-inspiring stretch of volcanic wasteland: a desolate and bleak monument to the power of Mother Nature.

Went on a half day trip with TUI, very please we did this is really a spectacular place. we felt like we were on another planet, the volcanos were breath-taking with their beauty.
Able to see into the craters and imagine the power that they must have erupted with.

Thank Geoff W

We visited early on a Sunday morning so didn't have to qué for a bus tour.
Tour was interesting, landscape is interesting to see.

Visited on a Thomson organised trip in March 2018 and was not disappointed. As with everywhere on the island it was windy but we enjoyed the short time we spent at the visitor center (inc demo of how hot the lava still is and what happens when you throw water down a hole there) We then toured thru the park with a guide explaining what we were looking at. ended the trip with a visit to a local winery and again that was interesting, didnt buy any wine :-).

Prob not a trip for young kids due to the amount of time spent in the coach.

Its very rare you get the chance to see a volcanic area in all its beauty and this was exceptional. The coach trip around the volcanoes is included in the price and that was amazing with stunning views and great driving skills by the driver, which added to the enjoyment of the journey. You are not allowed to drive your own vehicle around the coach route inside the park, but only to the parking area. At the car park is a demonstration of how hot the volcanic vents are, which was very amusing and entertaining. A good restaurant is on site with fantastic views over the area, with good toilet facilities.

When I first planned to visit, I kept reading reviews to ger to know what I have to do or what does the visit involve, but I could not find anywhere a simple response (how do you get there, what do you exactly do over there, can you visit de volcanoes by car or bus..). So, for those wondering like I did: you have to follow the road signs to Timanfaya National Park, come with your own car or bus if it's a planned tour. At the entrance you pay 10€/person, then you get to the car park, and immediatly they will show you to board one of their coaches: only them will take you for a "trip" around the volcanoes, as you're not allowed to go by car. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes, you're gonna see some amazing views, they have a taped recording in spanish-english-french-dutch that will play during the coach trip. At your return, at the car park, you have a restaurant, shop, a "lava grill", and you might also see some water demonstrations.
Anyway, it is amazing. You must see it if you're in Lanzarote.
