Me and my family (group of 6 plus a kid) headed to Smoke Bar+Resto for lunch in Paoay Church area. The place is nice with a scenic view of the church. We ordered the East Meats West group meal from the menu with different dishes that’s good enough for our group. The portion was just right. But we were dismayed with the taste of the food. Especially with the smoked meat which is not appetizing at all, as it was looking pale and soaking in the orangey sauce. Not even half of the food served was consumed. And we did not bother to take out the leftovers. Worst part is we paid 2,995 for the food that we did not enjoy at all. We left the place hungry and disappointed. I guess the staff knew from our faces that she cant even ask how’s our dining experience.

The ribs and chili were delicious, and they were made even yummier by the hot sauces which I think the pitmaster makes himself. We were a little bit disappointed by the stale nachos but everything else was top-notch.

We had a beautiful dinner with the view of the Paoay church in the background. Nice restaurant and good food.

The long trip to paoay was well worth it.
Try the ribs, smoke bacon.
Everything in made in house.
This is a must when you visit Paoay. The view of the church is a great bonus.
