We stayed here on a drizzly weekend - we already booked, weeks before, then the weather changed. It was a good thing that it was just light showers, the wind wasn't all that bad, and the place had a lot of trees to soften the effect of the rain. My children (and grandchildren) were still able to enjoy the swimming pools and the shore.
The staff were accommodating and did what they can despite the weather. The food in the restaurants were as before. It was a good thing that they had putong bungbong and bibingka on a small stall just beside the resto. The buffet breakfast was good especially the kapeng barako and maja mais (which almost always ran out as soon as it's refilled). The hot choco was also very good.

Their website says they’re a 4star, full service hotel. So We decided to spend our family Christmas and booked 2 nights in this hotel. And paid P20,000(for accommodations alone). We went there with expectations of a four star hotel. We were so disappointed when we got there. The photos on their website and on other booking websites are misleading to say the least. First of all, this hotel is very old. The overall aesthetics is very dated, reminiscent of a90’s resort. They badly need a renovation and facility upgrade. Reception area needs better ventilation. A water dispenser in the waiting area/lobby would have been great.
When we got to our room, it smelled old and moldy and dirty. Room security is very poor because they still use door keys which can be easily unlocked. Air conditioning is loud and no remote control. The beds have thin sheets (no duvet covers). the bathroom was filthy and dark. We had to wipe and disinfect the whole room with disinfecting wipes because we had a baby with us. No fire extinguisher inside the room. No safety deposit box. The light bulbs were busted. We had to have them replaced. The room has a den with broken screen windows, we had to call The front desk to repair the window, which by the way never got repaired even upon our check out. We wondered if the room was even inspected/cleaned before we were checked in because there’s so many things that are broken inside the room that we have to inform the front desk to either repair or replace.
We were even more disappointed when we saw The beach. It was....unswimmable since it’s low tide most of the day. The Food was....unremarkable, bland and pricey. They have 3 swimming pool, 2 are old and 1new (the only one we used).
My review may seem too harsh, but we paid a hefty amount for a supposedly “4star resort”. We deserve better for the amount we paid. I’ve stayed in 2star and 3 star resorts that have better facilities and better service than this hotel. Totally not worth traveling to batangas for this.
THIS RESORT BADLY NEEDS A TOTAL REVAMP AND RENOVATION!
