We arrived at about 9:30, and took the advice of our hotel owner to head straight to the 7th level. By the time we started the return after a good hour at the top, the path and each pool were so much busier.

Our kids (10, 8 & 6) made it all the way with no complaints, although the littlest didn't like the fish nibbling his feet at the 7th. But a very exciting and memorable day for us all.

Take water and insect repellant.

We visited on a Monday and arrived about 9am. Get there early to avoid the crowds. It’s a tough climb to the top most waterfall but worth it. Take as little with you as possible. Take water. We were pleased we took waterproof shoes as the rocks were slippery. In the top waterfall the fish nibble your feet. It took us 2hpurs to the top and back with a swim/paddle at the top. It’s beautiful and well worth the effort

It is very rare to find true hikes with rugged terrain going up and downhill. If you make it to the top, you will enjoy the scenery on the way, get a goid workout, might encounter a monkey or giant lizard. Don't forget your water, it gets quite hot and dehydration is a real risk. The falls themselves are not impressive, and swimming would be better without the fish (I am not a fan of being in close proximity to fish) but 5 stars for the hike.

There are 7 levels and me and my friends managed to walk all the way up to the top. At first it can be a little stressing and hot but once you reach the top it will be an amazing experience! All the 7 levels have waterfalls and you can take a swim in them. Yes, there are some fishes that can tickle your feet, but it's no trouble. At level 2 you cannot bring food or water, but you can pay and deposit some water with the staff there. You will expect many people there but it's worth the experience and satisfaction!

It is said that whenever you see a photograph of a waterfall in Thailand, it will be one of the seven falls here. It is a comfortable walk, although it gets a bit rugged as you ascend. Every fall has a pool and it was great to take a dip in a couple of them. Watch out for the fish though. The mature fish will leave you alone but their youngsters will nibble on your toes. It doesn’t hurt but it can come as something of a shock!
